Hawes Trail - Mountain Biking

The Hawes Trail System is an amazing network of trails in East Mesa near Power & Thomas / Las Sendas.  This network of single track is a blast to ride.  There is a good balance of climbing mixed with down hill and rolling hills.  It feels like more of a cross country trails system than a "down hill" trail system with extra steep drops.  Though you can find a few of those if you look.  You can also hike in this area, but it is best for biking.  This is one of the best places to ride in the Valley.  

Here are more specifics of the trails.  I prefer to park on Power Rd by the canal and do a loop starting just past the canal.
